Was hoping you were all going to share your secrets with me about the opposite sex and just maybe I could learn something rev laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Tom .. I learned about Pavlov's reward system a long long time ago love

Soufie .. a gorgeous story  it is devastating when someone you love is lost within and those little sparks of love and recognition are truly heart warming

They really are, thank you for noticing that. If you have some good memories, they can get you past that.

She was giggling, and though she did not know ME, she knew who SHE was
in that moment, it was so funny ;-)

Walked into my room one and there was a book on the bed, pictures explaining the deed. LOL had already figured most of it. Helpful cousins

Its also important to consider what you were taught/told that was wrong.
Sometimes when you are doing everything right according to what you were taught, you might in fact be doing everything wrong.

For instance, a man that is taught that the man is always in control, has the final say and exerts his will on his mate will find his mate has low self-esteem or will be rebellious. She will lie to him, keep secrets from him, get up and leave him, even tho he thinks he is doing everything right from what he was taught.
I learned at a young age that those instructions were wrong. They might work for awhile but eventually they will fail you.

The most important lesson I have learned relating to relationships is one I learned from watching others and my own experience.
That lesson is that everyone is a person. Their own person. You don't live behind their eyes. If you think you do, you're deluded.

You have to treat people with validation and respect for them being them, even when it doesn't fit your expectation of who or what you think they should be. They are not your possessions. They are people, just like you.
