Im sure you wont answer this honestly but other will, do you feel safer walking down an inner city neighbourhood like Riverdale neighbourhood in Chicago with the highest homicide rate or suburban area like Evanston Illinois outside of Chicago? |

manners and etiquette are skills that can exist OR lack in suburban and rural areas and not just 'ghetto' ones, 75% of ALL violent crimes in NYC ( murder, shootings, rape, muggings, car jacking, beatings, slashing's, forced robbery ect, ect) are committed by Blacks although blacks represent only 24% of the total city population. So much for etiquette and manners from the blacks in NYC. Hey.. do you want to talk about Chicago?... its worse there And it seems to go in spurts. A few years ago car jacking was the theme. Then random slashing's, then random gang beat downs on innocent people just walking down the street. Now, the rage is beating the living hell out of really old people ( to death at times) then stealing their pocketbook or wallet. They forget there are cameras... everywhere in NYC Add insult to the injury?.. some of the old ladies were then.... raped. tusk... tusk... not showing those manner you were taught at home. |

Yes. lets be 'honest'. I would not feel as safe in an impoverished community as I would an affluent one because concentrated poverty does invite crime. However, I do not attribute poor behavior to what community someone is raised in. Just like I may not feel as safe breaking it off with a white guy as I would a black guy, 'cause they are more known for flipping out over and becoming obsessive over perceived failure. But I wouldnt attribute someones lack of coping skills to them BEING white by saying something like, "Well, you can teach a white guy coping skills, but you cant stop them from being white." It's a bigoted attitude, regardless of the excuse. |
