So I see all kinds of folks use the phrase "distance is not an issue" and wonder "huh?" How can it not be? I guess we all have our own opinions on the matter - I know I do - and that nothing will change my mind but I'm also curious as to the reasons why some have no issue with distance. Any takers?

Most are from Lagos or Swaziland and are looking for a ticket out.

But it shows, how much I know about US geography oops

think of it this way lars the usa is a bigger land mass than all of europe without the border crossings

Aye. And you only learn about geography, when you travel around, methinks

^ all pressure & no patience, exactly.

emotional support > sex

both are wonderful, but I guess my feelings were stronger than theirs is what it comes down to...

Emotional support? I gave, I never received. Sex? I refer to my posts in a thread about this subject. Seems, my life until now was a big black hole. But I won't give up. There is a lid for every pot, as we say in Germany

Same. There’s someone who I’m interested in who lives in Japan. I’m from Trinidad. So literally half way around the world. If planned right, could make it work. But the distance can be a bit of a pain. Maybe worth it in the end.

Not more than 2 hrs drive otherwise it gets too difficult to see each other regularly and build something up.
An hour would be best, but willing to go for a guy who lives 2 hours away.

My first meeting takes place here in my city.

The men I meet live far away. I don't go strange places to Meet men.

They travel so it wasn't a problem, I had several first Meetings.

Saves me money ,when they are Not my match.

I had a girlfriend once when I was in Los Angeles and visited her every weekend in San Francisco for 8 months till it got old and decided on the ball and chain instead .
