It's deceiving if you ask me. Other than medical reasons of course. I think you got my point! |

Would you feel sensitive about your man friend, spouse, or date wearing this?
If they're already my friend or spouse, I wouldn't really feel that sensitive about it unless it was part of some change in the overall relationship and their personality. If they're my date, I would feel weird about it. Especially if I met them online. I've dated women from the internet who only ever wore black in their photos, posted only glamour shot/poses. Go out with them, start fooling around, next thing I feel is like they're wearing a wetsuit, the stuff comes off and all of a sudden it's a completely different person, they've shed their costume. Wouldn't exercise be more appropriate for men?
Exercise takes time. And the older you are, the less effective it is. Other than that, there's going to be a huge difference in personality between a 30 year old guy insecure about his non 20 year old physique because he was captain of the high school football team and that was the highlight of his life, and a guy that found it cheaper to buy a 40 dollar girdle so he doesn't have to spend money on new pants, and a 57 year old guy with a bad back and needs posture support. I enjoyed your comments! Makes good sense to me!! |

Problem comes when you get chatting to someone online and they have described themselves as thin or average body size. You get to meet them and passion rears it's head and when they get undressed they hit the floor on both sides of the bed I met men in person that said women did them like that. That's why they want to see full length photo s. And update ones. I myself don't put full length photo s. But up to date photos. |

I don't see the big deal ~ It's not like the garments can make someone look half their size. =.=
They smooth all the bumps out. If men think women aren't wearing them, then they're in fantasy land. |

Women girdles and body shapers are common use for some women. Would you feel sensitive about your man friend, spouse, or date wearing this? Wouldn't exercise be more appropriate for men? Maybe he's just one of those sub boyz you hear about. I can get the fat off him. I like exercise and working out and it wouldn't kill him either. Less beer and bacon, more salad and ice water and if he still doesn't lose weight then he must be cheating on me at the Burger King! |

I think women who have been pregnant in the past look especially attractive. I also tend to find women who are physically active to be attractive. Both of those factors play a role in natural shape.
Times that men wear things to mask shape are to blend in at formal events with sports coats that are made with fake shoulders, just because that is the convention, or for modesty, like people who duct tape their —— if they are going to be on TV next to hot celebrities. So, conformity or modesty. I am all for modesty. But I think formality is better if it accommodates everyone. Respect should be for a common vision held by the community, not necessarily being the community it’s self. I am a geologist. I am used to sharing comradery with people who wear rain coats, to keep the bad weather out. |

Girdles are like horse racing, if you can over the first girdle your home and dry!
Well, not to dry you'd hope |

Many types of clothing shape women! Not just old fashioned girdles

Clothing gives a more natural shape I think.
I recall the Chinese used to bind there children's feet from a very early age. 3-4 to stop them growing, not sure the reason. |

Can't they just breath in.
Anyway who cares what size they are . It's their heart that's more important. As long as he can cook clean and treats a lady like a queen is has my vote. |

I referred to the Chinese as that's how they'd shape bodies.
The victorians used to do it with corsets to stop the waist growing. it's an age old thing to shape the body. even some tribes would do it to their heads to make them pointed! |
