The cheaper the date, the better. It's a quick way to find out if she is there to be with you. Or there for the money you spend on her.
I've met a few in my life that the more money you spend on them, the more they want to be around you. Free meals. Free concerts, whatever it may be. They are ready. But when the money dries up, They gone. So, I find out right at the start. |

But Charles dont you ever feel that feeling when the woman is worth a lot to you by not minding at all how much you’re spending when you’re together? Well i am asking if sometimes you just forget and that money is no object because you just feel she is worth it ? Not talking about how the relationship ends but the time its just starting |

There is women out there, who expect money being thrown at them, and if not, they call you mean and lousy and all sort of things. But is it all about money? No methinks. Spending quality time together, supporting each other in hard times, a nice home cooked meal...it's the small things in life that matter, not the size of your wallet. JMO |

$45 is a good set number. Here you can eat Mexican or southern food for about $25. Then if she likes you, go to a park or walking trail.
What I can't stand is guys who want to "come over" or to meet me in a parking lot. I do think of them as losers. First impressions are very important. Guys wouldn't want the woman showing up in old pjs, no make up, and messy hair. |

well i guess it all depends on the date itself.
now if we are off to dinner and the theatre then that 45 won't even get us tickets. now if we are talking a first meeting even 45 might be too much |

Always have the first date mid week.
No point in spoiling the weekend if it doesn't turn out well |

Always have the first date mid week. No point in spoiling the weekend if it doesn't turn out well I learned that early on in online dating. You never know how a first date will turn out. Most don't look as good as their pic but a couple look better. I've met overweight guys w8th an ego that won't quit and good-looking guys trying to hard to impress me. |

Not talking about how the relationship ends but the time its just starting he isn't paying for a hooker....miney shouldn't matter.....no one especially men shouldn't have to spend a lot for her attention...... The only time a person has to spend more is when they have to go dutch |

So you pay for high maintenance women then Just cause one spends more then $45 on a single date does not mean the woman is high maintenance... Myself if it is a first date, sorry I always go dutch for the simple reason some have this same mind set.. I'm not out for what a guy pays for, I work and can pay for my own.. And have been known to pick up the tab more then once when dating someone on a regular bases... By the way not sure last time some went to a concert but if you think you are going to be able to get into one for less then $45 and have drinks or something to snack on during then best to stay home heck it cost that much just for a movie and popcorn these days... So if one can only think of what it will cost them to go out on a date...best stay single.... or date those that are not out for your money... |

oh I'm enjoy being single but the money is not just the only reason Humm if there is more reasons then the money then stay away from those... I do understand there are plenty of those that are considered High Maintenance to me most are just eye candy that men go after... One that honestly wants to be with another would not be there if it was just for the money... And would have no issues picking up the tab or help paying when going out.. |

woman showing up in old pjs, no make up, and messy hair.
Stop it! You're getting me excited. I'd rather meet a woman that is natural than one that bases her self-esteem on superficial societal beauty standards. But then, I'm looking for a person, not a prize. As for the money I'll spend on a date? No set limit but whatever I spend it on has to have value that matches the money. I'll spend the money it takes to have a good time with my date but as soon as money I spend becomes the focus, she will no longer be my date. The date is about the two of us getting to know each other and enjoying being in each other's company. If I wouldn't normally spend money on something myself I certainly am not going to spend it on two. After a relationship is established, that's when the two of you plan and go do the extravagant date. We plan going out to a steakhouse We plan going to a concert at $80 a ticket We plan doing a tour of the city's hotspots. For example; Tickets to the NOLA Zoo are $25 each, tickets to the NOLA Aquarium are $30 each. I won't normally spend $60 to go spend a day at the zoo but a planned day exploring the zoo with someone I am already in a relationship with would be fun, even at $120 + amenities. |

And would have no issues picking up the tab or help paying when going out..
I set my mind to imagine a date as being without money, she left it home. As for the concept of helping to pay, it brings up another aspect... Who controls the activities of the date? The one paying or is it mutual agreement? Every date I go on is always open to suggestion. There is always something one or the other just isn't into doing. Might be budget, could be fatigue or any other reason. If she wants to do something that I didn't budget for, but she is willing to pay for it, I'll go along and let her pay my way too. But, if she 'holds it against me' because she had to pay, it is a bad sign and can end my relationship with her. |
