In present days; we are capable to write all kind of texts and words;but;we find hard to say in person some special words to our loved ones(all kind of persons)...and it's like that.

When was the last time you said in person "I love you" to your parents;your kids;your "love",your best friend...etc?

People like to write much more than to say person to person.

Personally I tell the people that matter to me I love them every chance I get....
I'm a bit touchy-feely that way LOL...

But saying I love you to someone is a declaration of a real deep sincere .. emotion... that I love you emotion for most people it is not tooken lightly.....

So when they say those words I love you they need to believe it they need to feel it... and in some cases you want the other person to feel the same way...... that's why declaring I love you in a new relationship can be a bit tricky if you say it too soon are you say it too late.. it's about timing I suppose... I find it best to say it as soon as you feel it truly feel it for the other person..... because love is all about taking risks.. we open ourselves up we open our hearts up we expose ourselves to the risk of being hurt at some point... hoping that never comes but knowing it will... but Having the courage to be okay with that then opening ourselves up to the possibility .of never being hurt

It is not easy for me, since my parents live in a different country, and I only see them twice a year in person. Nobody around me really deserves that I say I love you either. There is no wife and kids or partner.

Never mind, as long as it is honest, and comes from your heart, it should be possible to say these words online, over the phone, etc

Today to my daughter, whenever I speak to my son, maybe once or twice a week, same with my old mother.

i view quality and meaningful communication to be as much nonverbal as verbal...so my seedlings and I share hugs, warm conversation, and many other moments which define and sustain the bond we have...and they know without a doubt how much their father cares for each of them...so although the verbal "i love you" is said once in a while, the nonverbal "I love you" is said quite frequently...

I 'm in the minority then, I rather say things in person. I love conversations in person with family and friends I Know. Online is a small part in my life.

I do talk on phone alot and text. bigsmile

I grew up where a man saying "I Love You" was a sign of weakness.
My parents didn't say it, not even to each other.

I raised my own family saying "I Love You" constantly. Plus I showed affection for animals and showed concern for others (friends, coworkers, the kids friends, etc...).

My kids KNOW that I love them. I KNOW that they love me. I know that they know I love them and they know that I know they love me.

I will not tell a girlfriend that I love her unless I really do, then I will tell her a lot.

Another thing I have a knack for is to point out the simple things to people. I also tend to repeat back what someone tells me. I've found that a lot of people say things they don't mean or don't make sense. They tend to have a "facetious syndrome" (treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant). I know, because I used to.

I do have a humorous side. When playing, I have a knack for making someone laugh, mostly, just pointing out the obvious.

When I write something, I say it verbally in my head. So in writing this, I am also saying it in my head. When I need to, I talk the same way.

My mother, when the situation is right.

My kids, almost every time I see / speak them, they say it to me too. I've always done that with them so they're not awkward about it at all. I always felt it was best to be a good role-model and show my kids that it was perfectly fine to express your feelings.
My son was brilliant! When in his teens, he often phoned me when he was out with mates for something (usually about picking him up). And even with his mates around him he'd always always always say "I love you, mom!" before hanging up. I don't believe any of his mates ever ridiculed him for that. And it made me effing proud that my son had the baws AND freedom inside to do that.

With a partner, I say it very often.

But I never ever say "I love you" because it's routine or 'the done thing'. I mean it or I don't say it.

I tell my folks and my family I love them. I tell my car I love her too, simply because I feel loving on your vehicle keeps her from wanting to blow up or something. laugh

In person... it's been over a year since I've heard it or said it. Both my parents are deceased, haven't seen my brother in a long time, and it's been over a year since I've seen my sons. And never mind about my sister, lol.

I will be seeing my one son next week though, so it will be nice to say it face to face.

Its hard to say to people who i dont feel a genuine love for. Saying i love you means exactly that to me it goes with a thud thud in my heart. I always say that to my family and hoping i will be able to say it again to one special person smitten

In my part of the world, we VERY RARELY say the actual words but have our special ways of saying them including: "Have you eaten?" "Are you OK?" "I've missed you" "Take care" and so on.
The words 'I love you', although used easily by new lovers, very few couples and even fewer parents to their little children, aren't so easy to say to parents, partners (marriage) and older children. I think a lot of grew up without hearing those words expressed to us so we just took it up and would rather show love with our actions than say it. We are aware that we love each other because we show it as much as possible but saying it...nahhh. I said it a lot to my ex tho.
I, however say it to my best friend, on the phone or in a text, once in a while.

Big congratulations! to all sincere-heart persons who are the facility to say to loved ones...that magical phrase!.One day; you will know how life can be changed when a person knows is loved by others.

Written or said it....you are giving a gift to others.

Thank you!!
