Over the last year, two of my closest girlfriends have tried to get me out with half a dozen cousins, co-workers or their husband’s buddies. I had a chance to meet each of them once or twice before making a decision about whether I’d allow them to set me up. And each time I’ve been dumbfounded as to how little my best friends seems to know about my taste in men. noway

Would you get your girlfriends to contact me...asap...

laugh Yeah, no so sure the Brit across the sea was in their plan when they bagged me to go online. rofl

I don’t let my friends set me up. If they know the man well enough to recommend him, then they know him well enough for things to be awkward for all of us if/when it doesn’t work out.

Good point. With that in mind, I should be glad my friends are clueless about my taste in men. laugh

Hummm got to realize if you have gone on a date that started online.... It basically is a blind date.. Most that would set you up would at least show you a pic of them now days...

When it comes to chemistry, that does not happen till you meet face to face anyway... Heck I have talked to a few online and still totally different in person..

So yea I would trust my friends that would take that step... Does not mean I would go out with that person again. Some times one must step out of their comfort zone who knows..... that meet may not be the one but you could run into the one that is... whoa smile2

How many of you would rely on a friend or friends to set u up on a date?

It may help in some way to bet to know newer women but I would not rely on their judgement all the time as it takes your own individual thoughts at the end of the day. Be open minded but don't feel obliged to date if you feel they are not for you.
