Strong wind yet again, sigh, with even stronger gusts. Driving wasn't pleasant, I got a lightweight car that's a tad high.

Storm expected tomorrow with damaging gusts for next few days. Oh joy! Just hope my fence holds up as I had to have it repaired after the last storm. Been there January 2016. Worst storm ever, some 8 meters of the entire 13 meter long fencing was blown over. Hope yours will be okay. (Mine was in bad shape) |

Worst storm ever, some 8 meters of the entire 13 meter long fencing was blown over. Hope yours will be okay. (Mine was in bad shape) Thanks Crystal but I'm thinking it'll be fine. It's been reinforced with 6 extra posts so I'm thinking it'll hold. It's the height (6') and length (40') that's the problem and the wind can't blow through it as there's no space between the slats so it just acts as a kind of buffer against wind. 
No space in between ain't handy! Don't know how much 40 feet is, 12 meters I think? The fencing here wasn't that good, soil gets wet here in winter, so the posts rot easily. That was the problem, a couple had almost rotten through and through, then the rest can't withstand a gale force 10 anymore either of course, haha. My neighbour's father fixed it, I think she got insurance money, mine didn't cough up. They also put more posts in, fingers crossed it will last another 5-8 years. I used to always get incredibly nervous whenever there was a storm as it was so wobbly. Now I 'just' worry about the 3-4 meter gates
