all major countries have gun bans, not sure why I have to keep repeating myself, but it's the meds these people are taking..do your own research, besides guns and crazy, it's the common denominator...

Moe, what specific cases of shootings involved shooters who were using prescribed narcotics?

maybe instead of trying to solve the problem in its entirety
focus on something specific...without the argument that doing
so is the first step in taking away ALL guns ???

so whats the problem with banning sale and manufacture
of......bump-stocks ???

is there any valid reason for them ?

if you do a search on mass shooters on prescription meds, I came up with over 50 websites on it, here is one...

I don't disagree, but I don't think that's the problem...sad fact is that it won't end there, someone else on meds goes on a rampage, and newer, stricter laws come about... Hasn't that Been the problem so far? They've changed all sorts of gun laws, and nothing has slowed it down... Maybe time to look at another angle...

Yes I think there should be stricter guns laws, but criminals will still find a way to get them. Automatic guns and assult rifles and such should be sold to just military or retired police or military.imo

NRA wants $$$ they don't care who buys guns.

It is a shame, when students Feel the need to March for stricter gun control.

i found 10 pages of sites on shooters who use assault rifles

the idea of a teacher possessing a gun at school is also a deterant . I think people will think twice if they have doughts about not being able to make as big of statement and do far less damage than their intended destruction.

Like Tom stated, Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Thats the
fact. Start at home, kids are raised on bloody, gore killing in movies, games and TV. This becomes reality to them. Throw in some illegal and legal narcotics, gangs and yes, guns and we have a real formula for death in our society. Listen to the junk they listen to. We are their enablers. Guns don't kill people, we do.

no more a 'deterrent' than laws. But much more of a crappy environment to force our kids to try to concentrate in.

these people are rarely expecting to actually get away with it and many dont care if they die.

I don't think they wanna die before they kill anyone... That seems to defeat their demented purpose doing it to begin with...

so do we expect teachers to shoot someone BEFORE They have shot anyone, or for shooters to give notice that they are about to? How will they know they are going to shoot someone and react fast enough to prevent them from getting of rounds?

AND the gun retailers who sell weapons and accessories created for maximum carnage ... there are plenty of areas that should be addressed.

I can't say what you would expect, but if I were a teacher with a gun, and even see someone with a gun, I would shoot first, let the cops sort it out...

Okay. Good luck with that. I would hope its not another armed staff who was thinking the same when they see your gun.
