Oh well, the upside of being moved is that I will get more exercise walking to work, I'll get my breaks on time, eat better, and have a more consistent schedule.

Plus there's more managers there and employees. so the manager can deal with it when I speak up about stuff, and with the amount of employees, no one will know it was me that spoke up.

The ones in charge in the Cafeteria are a little more proactive too. My boss at the grill pretty much sits in the office all day and lets the supervisor handle things, a lot of nonsense goes on when she's there too.

Got the transfer! Tonight is my last night at the grill. And I was blessed to not have to work with the ones I had a problem with

No meeting happened though. I had ran into the department head earlier and told him about my meeting with the Y director, so when the managers for food service had their meeting later today, they made the transfer.

My boss was very abrupt with me

oh well!

He's a she, and nope, not my boss anymore. She was nicer to me later. I think it could have been frustration from having to stay late to change the schedule... about me, but not personal.

heck she could have even just been in a grouchy mood cuz of a bad cuppa

We'll be getting that here in about a month or so. They say April is pretty much like that the whole month. There's already some when the snow melts a little. Then it freezes and is solid ice down the whole pathway with a nice ice skating pond at the bottom of the hill
