Topic: Loving someone you don’t like | |
---|---|
I totally get this! I love someone that I sometimes hate! I wonder how can both of these emotions coexist in one person? But then I remember hearing someone say, "As much as you can love a person, is as much as you can hate them".....soooooo damn true! Hey there! I think its a subjective thing depending upon what one's perception of love, like, hate, et cetera are I have never hated anyone, but I do hate some things people do or say. I reserve love for living things moreso than for actions and words. so for me, I can LOVE (the person) and still hate some of their ways, actions, or words. |

As has been said, you can't love someone you don't like. Unless there's something drawing you to them, or triggering a feeling of love. Mismatched couples exist. But generally, if you don't like someone you're probably NOT going to want them. Romantically that is. Makes sense |

We can't therefore love without experiencing hate, and again vice versa. It's all about life experiences and what we learn from it. |

Stop worrying and doing so much for the next person..Start thinking about doing for yourself..I have done for people my whole life and that is why I am in the situation I am in now..and I have stories for days and they're not good ones and it's all because I put others before me..Don't do it take care of yourself because in most cases in the end what you realize is all they cared about was themselves while taking advantage of your kindness.. Old friend of mine married someone she didn't love to please her father and it has "worked" for 38 years and 10 kids. In the old days this would have worked fine, but these days I think it best to hold out for love or keep your expectations extremely low.

Even nature can't survive, if one of them was missing |
