Am I wrong about the wall to build along the US and Mexico?
Did The President Donald Trump said that he will build the with no tax payer's money? Did he not said that the wall will be built and Mexico will pay for it?

Please someone should let me know if I am wrong. If am correct then why should the congress be willing to use our money to build it?

Trumps wealth is built on his excellent salesmanship. I would not heed alot to what perks and benefits he speaks in the moment, just saying.

The wall effects the border states that get hit 1st...CA, AZ, NM and TX. I am for it amd get rid of some other useless spending (like the government shut down and others not getting paid)

If it keeps illegals out then I'm for it. Just ship the 250,000 illegals in our prisons back to where they came from and in one year you recoup the money. After that it is a savings.

Are we now saying that camping promises is a wrong thing? So people can say anything to be elected?
Is the voting public that stupid?

I would say alleged 'promises' are only made so by a misinformed public. I rarely hear candidates say the word 'promise'.

Im saying people can say anything to be elected.

Im saying candidates and the voting public are just ill informed enough about government and politics regarding political office boundaries and authority, that they vote emotionally instead of logically. They react to a candidate who validates what they feel instead of one that will be able to BE A PART(and only a part) of delivering what the country needs.

Its like we select the school president who says they will have half day lunches and pizza parties than the one who says they will work to get more accessible teacher student communication.

I can see the wall slowing down those who walk over, but what about other points of entry such as airp, open coast line and driving in. People may have visas, but they can disappear into the crowd.
Just curious how that aspect is going to be handled.
Also, if there is a wall, what are the chances there will be new ideas to overcome it..?
Just some thoughts.

And empty campaign promises is something new?

Like him or not, he is delivering on promises. Tax reform, health reform, defeat I.S.S.I, ect

And Mexico will pay for the wall or the trade tariffs will be increased. And U.S. businesses will be pull out of there. And Mexico can not afford that. There is many many ways to squeeze Mexico.

The fact is Mexico needs America a lot more then we need them.

I do want to know who will help the farmers to harvest the crops? How many of us American are ready to work in the farms with low low wages and working conditions? How will affect our buying power in the market?

Do we still vote for those that make campaign promises? Are we the voting public taken for granted then?

How will they decide if we the voting public did not hold them for their promises?

I think it takes bravery to break away from 'what is' and sometimes people have to get into a game before they can alter the rules, if that makes sense. I believe people have come to expect it and become desensitized to it, is all.

I also think the public has been losing alot of once valued skills like reading comprehension, active listening, applying logic, and understanding context. Everything is expected as a simplistic singular snippet or scandal and patience for the 'whole truth' is becoming extinct.

Then are we loyal to the party, the person? If we are loyal to the country, we will not be voting for the same party or person that lied to us. Will we? If we do then we are also guilty of the same crime or lying.

So let them flood across the border so we can get a good price on broccoli.

Farmers and every other industry that uses illegals will find another way or they will shut down. And you know what, they are not going to do that.

they will adapt as Americans always have.

the thing is we wont know until they are in office, so some get re elected and some serve single terms, meaning people ARE voting or not voting on things like if someone 'lied' to them.

And because there are hundreds of millions of citizens, not all having the same values or priorities or standards for their elected officials, we can only go by the electorate system and its final determination. Could we improve our expectations as citizens for the government in some areas? of course. But I still believe the government we have is the best we got, far from perfect, but not shabby for the size of the country and the scope of its responsibilities.
