I went to look at my mutual matches..and all I saw was one.. it was the picture of a jack azz..All I could think was ..dang those mutual matches are spot on...

Mutual matches are those that both you and that person clicked "yes".

I'm sure a lot click yes or maybe as a "sure why not" kind of thing, or "maybe if she were in my area" kind of thing.

And I wonder how many think it will ever amount to anything. What I mean by that is they click yes thinking it will never become "mutual", so why not? kind of thing.

I think it's seen more of a game, than an actual tool for matching us. And for guys, gals too just to be fair, it's like going into a candy store and clicking yes to all the items that visually look good to you, lol.

similar devices on other sites offer even less info than here and won't let you look at full profile. so mostly it's treated as those and i just do the quick visual choice. occasionally i will look closer and actually think about a decision

I haven't really played it in a while, other than yesterday. But kind of the same way for me. If the initial visual isn't attractive to me, it's an automatic no, but if the visual is attractive to me, then I look for other factors before saying yes or maybe.

Never tried clicking the yes, maybe and no as I won't meet them in real ...

If you click "maybe", it's just like clicking yes as far as the results of the game. The computer reads it as a "yes" and will mutually match you to anyone who also said yes or maybe to you.

Exactly! If they aren't actively showing interest or working towards getting to know you...outside the forums...then mutually matching with them is irrelevant.
