p even if i compare your profile to my settings in advanced search the only miss is distance.
so i would guess that as long as there are closer matching candidates then you won't pop up for me |

Thanks yellowrose. So if I click "yes" on someone, then there's a greater chance of me showing up in their match search? You would show up if you match their search criteria (unless you match them yourself) If you check out another's profile, there is a button that says match with him/her. As far a saying yes, you both have to say yes. I think of someone manual matches you, that is an automatic yes on their part Did I answer the question? Lol I hope I am making sense Mikey and I experimented with it. I went in his profile and clicked on the "match with him" and the match game came up where I could say yes. I didn't show up in his search, he had to do the same, go into my profile and click match with me and then yes. He's been my only actual "Mutual Match" but on purpose rather than through playing the game. Hmmm that's odd. Maybe it takes time to show on the other side or a glitch. I know there are bugs in the mobile app Did you click yes? I clicked yes first, but didn't show up for him and he had to click yes for me of course, for it to be a mutual match. Neither of us were using the app. It's just like with Eric, I just clicked "yes" for him and haven't shown up in his search on mutual match. So I think both have to have their distance criteria match in order to show up in each other's search box. |

I sent you a match to test it. It is been a while since I used it. That was how it worked. Not sure if something has changed since |

The distance preference seems to be for searching criteria only. Not for the mutual match choices. After changing my distance, I still got guys from all over in the mutual match game, but only in my area in the search section. Not really a problem I guess. If someone wants to match with me, they certainly don't have to wait until I show up in their match selections. They can just do it themselves by going into my profile. |

do you have any advanced parameters set?
i know when i first got here after a certain point playing all my search parameters suddenly changed. after playing some more i found that once i had seen all that matched advanced the settings reset and i started seeing more and from farther away |
No, I don't think so. I only have my mail preferences set.
it's working off of the search parameters not mail
No, I didn't set any advance parameters, just distance.

use puter go to search set basics at top. then peek at a few mutuals.
then back to search and touch advanced fill in some stuff, scroll to bottom and find matches. you get a shorter list. then go to mutuaals and see if they look different |
don't know how on apps and mobile site
Gothcha, okay I'll try it out.
and the tighter you make the settings the quicker you can see how it's working

Actually it started working before I changed the advance. I changed the search distance to 50 radius and searched a little. Then went to mutual match to find matches and all of them were from Colorado. Cool!
So if I start using the advance, it will narrow down the search. |

i believe so try using something very blatant and extreme like only one religion or body type

I'll try it. This could be fun. Got two mutual matches now
I believe only one of them was from actually playing the game though. |
