I stopped into the post office today to buy a book of forever stamps. While I was waiting in line I was looking at all the stuff hanging on the walls. On the end, near the door there was a bulletin board with a sign asking if "Are These Yours?" On it there were a few pairs of sunglasses, a pair of reading glasses and a necklace. What really made me laugh out loud was the fact that there were two, not one but two, sets of car keys with house keys on the rings. How distracted do you have to be to leave your car keys at the post office? What really got me was the fact that it has happened at least twice. I mean, you had the keys in your hand because you used them to get to the post office. You put them down and absent-mindedly forget them. When you go back out to the car, what do you do? Walk home? I know what you're thinking but it has obviously happened twice in one community at a post office that is at a rural location.
