Yes, and no.. To get to love someone you have to know them and that takes time.. some people can hit it off online then meet and fall in love but others will talk online meet and then realise there is nothing there. So you could meet the love of your life on line, but your just as likely to meet them in the supermarket

Never have and never will go online or join a site, in fact I've never been on the Internet or owned a computer really you will never find love on the computer sure you can ... never know that person you have been seeing u may get up the never to mail them ... and even your love ...can be found by just joining the site ... isn't this exciting and remember there are know stupid questions in the forums for newbies ... my bad ...

can we really meet true love in online dating websites? of course...whether you meet online or at the local supermarket, at some point it will include a face-to-face... interestingly enough, the top seven reasons (from a search i did) for breakups even nowadays include Commitment. ... Infidelity. ... Conflict and arguing. ... Marrying too young. ... Financial problems. ... Substance abuse. ... Domestic violence. you know these seem familiar and do not look that different from the reasons before online dating...and no mention of "having met online" as a reason for the breakup...

These days there's an awful lot of happy couples who met each other online. It happened to me twice as well, both my ex and the current man in my life. As MaybWeCan pointed out, the fact my ex and I split had nothing whatsoever to do with having met online.
