I don't like cleaning them either, so unless I was with someone, I would throw it back too.

I mean, yeah I could take it, but then I'd either have to filet it right away, or freeze it whole for later because by time I get home I don't feel like messing with it and there's no room in the freezer to store it... it's a bigger hassle than its worth..lol

Dang thing beat me up in the boat. I'm sure I looked like all 3 stooges in one. He got every hook in him somewhere, I was trying to hold it by the mouth while trying to unhook it, it thrashed and I dropped it. Picked it up, it thrashed again and sunk the rear hook of lure in my shirt. Cut the lure loose from rod. Tried to get hooks out of shirt while holding fish with other hook still in its mouth.. finally got it unhooked and back in the water then had to cut lure free from shirt. I was done at that point...

That would have been fun to watch.

A couple years ago I was fishing out on the reef and had a nice size Hogfish. Just before I got it in the boat a shark came up and ate half of it. I was do mad, I love Hogfish.
