In this modern world we live in, I think a good Christian relationship is a blessing. Even with all the bad hype that religious people get from media, it still remains the pinnacle of purity and happiness.

A God-centered relationship is a relationship who's foundation is the Lord- a relationship that is pleasing to God and honors Him- a relationship that is molded by biblical values.

Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has light with darkness...

I recently met an amazing young lady. She's fun to be with and has all of the same interests. However, she doesn't know the Lord. I had to tell her, before things got too far, that I just can't go any further.
I shared the gospel with her, and she was asking the right questions, but even if she were to get saved today, we would be so far apart in spiritual knowledge and maturity that I just couldn't see a future for us. It's sad but just part of who we are as believers.

Not the first and probably not the last either!

I do always and i believe God will surprise me as i wait on Him.

Putting God in the center of any kind of relationship is always good

Indeed, God 1st, everthing else will fall into place.

Hi there 'folks', i am 'Doc', who just joined, and i would want to add in encouragement for Christians that, GOD centered life is one who 'does/practice' and 'abide' in the New Covenant Scripture doctrine of CHRIST, and therefore bear much fruit.

That is where CHRIST is, teaching and making disciples and disciplining the church through His chosen Apostles. He said that, "My sheep hear My voice and follow me,..." And also, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness and all these things that the unbelievers worry, shall be added unto you."

The point is, unbelievers do worry, that they are still single and have not found Mr. 'Right'. But for Christians, he or she shall be added unto them, when they 'does/practice' and 'abide' in the doctrine of CHRIST written in the New Covenant, which is the Kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness.

May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST help the 'flock' here perceive this message through HIS SON, JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT refreshingly.

Yes I do value a God centred relationship. I have tried my own way and it never worked. As I am getting older I am realizing that only God can truly make us happy. I need to wait on the Lord!
