Is it me? Why are there so many men on this site looking for love and there on a ship somewhere in another country. Talking about they love ya!! Seems a wee-bit desperate. Myself I'm looking for friends first.

I have learned to accept this though I initially had the same feelings about it 55.
The end game, the MAIN objective for many is 'love' and so they post that as what they are looking for. For some, this objective blinds them to everything that leads up to 'love' (like developing a bond of dependability and trust known as 'love'), for some this objective doesn't involve dependability and trust so much as it does feeling 'chemistry'. For a few though, even though they state 'love' as their goal, getting to know them will reveal that they are likewise willing to take their time and allow something substantial to develop,,and see where it goes. I am of a heart that wants to have a friend, someone that I build a bond of trust, dependability, and inspiration with, and allowing the possibility for it to blossom into something more. Good luck! |

OP Deactivated So long Farewell Aufwiedersehn Adeiu Adeiu Adeiu To yieu and yieu and yieu - The Sound of Music I hate The Sound of Music. It used to get me every time it starts. The scenery is fabulous...So intriguing. Then, the singing begins and I think...DANG It's this darn movie. Click! Yeh, another less than desirable is gone. I will answer that big mile relationships can work out but it takes work. I have done it twice and in the beginning a long way away but soon together. Another happy day here listening to Moby and Muse. |

Too bad they left. I was going to introduce them to the inverse law of mutual attraction.
The degree to which many of us are attracted to, and attractive to, someone else, is often INVERSELY proportional to the distance between us. |

Myself I'm looking for friends first. IF, you find the right person for you then does distance really matter, because you will both want to be together at sometime in the future. It just depends on what the two people involved want, and are looking for in my opinion. |
