Depends on the occasion to be honest. I can appreciate both. Bringing roses on a first date is a bit too much, plus where do you have to put the roses until you get home? You usually don't carry a vase in your handbag Chocolates on a first date are more neutral. Later on in a relationship / after more dates you should know what she likes Also pay attention during conversations before you meet to learn what she's passionate about. I am passionate about crystals, I had a guy turn up with a beautiful crystal on our first date. The man sure as heck had paid attention! He had gone to a crystal shop especially for me. You can bet your bum I appreciated that!

Neither for me. I would appreciate the gesture but I don't eat sweets and prefer to plant roses so they last wow! i'm fascinated truly on how someone can plant and see little by little the thing blooms and grows afterwards.. what a fulfillment :)

I would say Roses if you cant buy a female Roses you arent interested enuf in her to go on a date so just dont go . The chocolate id say is fine for after Dinner if it goes well. Most florists will wrap Roses with Babys Breath in tissue paper for you
