I'm curious as to what many younger women seek in older men from a romantic point of view. I welcome your input and thoughts on the subject.

Stereotypically, it kinda depends on the age disparity.

I mean a 50 year old woman who only dates men 50+ is going to be seeking something different than an 18 year old seeking only 80+ year old guys who is probably going to be seeking something different than a 25 year old woman who only dates guys in their 30's and no older than 40.

I know there are exceptions to the rules so let me start by making an honorable mention of THOSE WOMEN who court with older men out of genuine love for the man's wisdom, worldliness , and patience.

But sadly , in many cases where women were financially reliant prior to the relationship, their MAIN reason for being with that older man is financial stability.

Really? Maybe in some countries, countries with no or crap well-fare systems.
Over here it is still okayish, and from all the ppl I've known throughout life, I've only ever come across 1 woman who wanted a man with a large income. And even she wasn't out to become a 'kept woman' and live of his money. She was extremely status and career minded and wanted a likewise partner. She is now president-director of a well-known international corporation. Wouldn't surprise me if she makes twice as much or more than her partner, and she worked her @$$ of to get there. Paid for it herself too btw.

Every other woman I've known and know are after one thing and one thing only: Love.

Yes, I agree Bogie and Bacall were truly in love. We could cite others as well, and I personally know of ladies where the age gap was close to 30 years and they stayed in love.
I think the earlier responder to my post was correct when she cited 'Wisdom, Worldliness and Patience' as key factors in the attraction to (SOME) older men. Bravo to her.
