You worship one god and jesus why so many different churches and
denominations????

I find it confusing. Everyone no matter their denomination, all will say
they are christian worshipping God and Jesus. But if you ask certain
denominations they will tell you the other is worshipping a false God.

I can't understand if you are all christians worshipping the same God.
Why different churches, why say the other is worshipping a false God. I
scratch my head about that.

Im sorry I mean no disrespect. I just can't get my head around it.

I believe man is doing that. God is God. its up to you to worship him
the way you feel right in doing. No one can tell you what is right in
your heart, thats yours. if you feel good with it,it's right

so many churches because they start to disagree with something so they
split off and start there own. also money is an issue. religion is big
bucks and they dont pay taxes, so think about that 2. practice what they
preach, not what there actions are cause most are hypocrits. take it
from me, a good catholic boy

Hey Ghost keep in mind that all of us do not worship one God, some of us
worship Many Goods and GOddesses and we don't need a specific building
to do so, that the best place is out side touching the earth

There's at least 3 churches that got it wrong....the Jehova's
Witless(they're actually more of a cult that believes in anarchy), the
Mormon's (I'm sorry but if Jesus was in North America then I'm pretty
sure at least SOME if the Indians would have heard of Him BEFORE the
white man got here) and to a much lesser extent, the Catholic Church(The
Bible says not to bow down to false gods and yet they regularily pray to
the Mother Mary). In the case of the Witless and the Mormons, they just
decided to rewrite the Bible or add to it altho the Witless version is
REALLY messed up.
The difference between the rest of the churches started with Henry the
VIII. At that time there was only ONE church, the Catholic church. Henry
got kinda tired of lopping his wives heads off but he couldn't divorce,
so he had a new church created that allowed divorce, which is where the
Anglican church comes from (basically Catholic light lol). Thus the
Protestant church was born. After that, it just came down to man
interpreting the Bible to fit his own particular lifestyle and beliefs,
this is why I quit going to church. Too many don't preach the love of
God and the spirit of the Bible, but get hung up on semantics or money
instead.

All of you that truly wish to know such invest in a little research, and
maybe a short consultation with your religious
advisor.

Yes, Poet, that's true. There are those who are polytheist. Even among
them I see division too. Paganism (from Latin paganus, meaning "a
country dweller" or "civilian. Also "Pagan" is the usual translation of
the Islamic term mushrik , which refers to 'one who worships something
other than The God of Abraham.
You have Neo-Paganism (Reconstructionists) or more commonly just Pagan.
Then there are the Wiccans, another off shoot of the same who worship a
Goddess and God. Many traditions of Wicca remain secretive and require
that members be initiated. There is also a movement of Eclectic or
Solitary Wiccans. While most Wiccans practice magic, a few do not, and
do not identify as witches. Sounds like a personal choice. But I have
seen some division amongst them as to whether one group of Pagan/Wiccans
are true to the letter or not. I guess you can have a sort of
Pagan-wanna-bes, and just the typical teens that think it's cool to wear
black close like the Goth kids. Then there are the feminist Dianic
Witchcraft which only believe in a female deity. Sorry guys. LOL( I
wonder if they want to castrate all men) LOL. Maybe Lorana as there High
priestess. lol
I believe they also are regular pagans that attend a kind of church that
is somewhat based on Christian practice like the Unitarian Church.
Mostly because they will except anyone Gay, straight, what ever. I can
also see that in the Catholic priests and the monks, a sort of paganism
attire. The robe with the hood, and the pure white robes too which is a
universal symbol of purity amongst them and the pagans. So I can see a
little borrowing there.

Yes, Driver, I believe so too. But you will always see those who feel
that you just can't worship as you please. You are either a Christian
(to their strict term) or just someone who has it all wrong. I have a
friend who started out as a strict Catholic, then became a Born-again.
Who feels that if you don't believe as they do, you have no hope of
salvation period. Pretty strict, but yet I see a sort of hypocrisy in
them too. It's just funny to see some people who tout to be all holier
than Thu, and yet you can see all kinds of contradictions in there life.
I think at least to my knowledge I have not seen or noticed any
dissension among Atheist's. They just don't believe in any kind of God,
period. No church to attend to, free all day Sunday. How simple is
that. Except for the Agnostics who I believe are just unsure there is a
God or Gods. But I tend to think they really don't believe in any Gods.

Yeah Seeker, I know from my friend (The Born-again) that he has moved to
different churches for the reason that they think the churches they
attended were not in accordance with his set of born-again beliefs. So I
guess you can either keep searching for a church that fits your needs or
start your own.lol

The JW's are an off the wall sect. The Mormons are no better, although I
have yet to see any Mormons knock on my door. Just one who is Governor
of my state which sucks. I have been approached by the Mormons on the
street. Maybe they don't like to visit people in their homes due to the
danger. They probably see the Beware of Dog, and the Beware of owner
signs, so I guess they feel safer in the streets wear it's more visible.

rligion...but thats another post for another day and we bopth know how

What's that old saying? Heaven wont take me, and hell's afraid I'll take
over. LOL

Does that describe you? LOL

BTW
What do Pagans/Wiccans believe about the after life if any?

I know that the ancient Norsemans believed in a kind of heaven or
Valhalla a place for slain worriers to fight in eternity. Not saying
that's your belief but just not familar with their's

Christians enough now. Now it your turn LOL!!!!!

Serously though my mission isn't realy to pick on anyone but to
challenge you beliefs.

So are you willing to take the challenge or can you refer me to someone

Reincarnation. The old Buddhist thought and or Hindu. Only Hindu
believe you are reincarnated by your class. Is that the same as if you
do wrong you are transported into a lower class and subject to poverty
due to a past life. If so is that a punishment for fucking a whore or
just saying how you despise illegal aliens? OK how about the Mr. Bush.
What is his punishment for drawing us into war. Will he come back as an
Iraqi child burned by a weapon. Is that justified? Or is that just an
angry way to feel redeemed? You may find it evil to lock us into a war
of attrition. But answer me this, What about those who fought in WWII.
Was it wrong to do so? It is written that to kill is wrong, period. So
will the heroes who stormed the Beaches Of Normandy somehow be subjected
to their conduct of the war in the after life or reincarnation. Much as
the say the Vietnam vets who were called baby killers after they
returned. What's their reward. Maybe they were rapist and plunders as
gladiators or something. Oh and by the way, don't go into the claptrap
dogma that the Christians do when they don't have an answer. And don't
feel attacked either. This is merely an attempt to make you reevaluate
your beliefs, or strengthen them. Witch ever you choose. it's up to
you.

Oh and I really like the notion that the wiccans don't know about the
final challenge after you have exhausted all your souls in life, about
what happens to you. Basically what the Christians believe accept they
seem to think they know what happens to you after you die the first time
and not after your souls have been exhausted. Which doesn't comfort me
at all. So my question is why do we feel sorrow after someone who has
died. Is it because we know they are doomed to an after life of what
their past life was? maybe that's worse then hell.
Oh and the wiccan creed is to harm none. Well, that's an impossible feat
is it. Since I believe you harm yourself. No one can make you angry but
yourself.

So then what do the wiccan belief say about fighting for freedom to
worship as you do. Logically it means to fight for your right to do so.
but your belief sounds too much as the Christians do that to Turn the
other cheek. so how many wiccans/pagans would like to live as the Armish
do?

Their is only one copy of the lords words. (the Bible)
There should be then only one house.
If YOU believe in a creator, no matter his name, then these people
should all be as one.
One religion, One house, One creator.

WE AS A 'PEOPLE' SHOULD ALL LIVE AS ONE!
