Hello everyone, I am new to his whole thing...and wanted to know; are there givens...or accepted site standards or...just knowns, that would be good to follow as a general rule; as to how and when to exchange personal info, to meet someone face to face? I am curious...Lets brain storm...there has to be some basic accepted givens...........whats your take?

I think that all depends on the individuals involved. Some people may want to meet right away, others want to wait. You just have to be able to agree upon an acceptable time frame with the person you're interested in.

when she is willing to, pay for my round trip air fare ...first class of course... ..oh yea dont forget the limo pick up at the airport...

Everyone is different...some people are more hesitant to meet in person and some want to meet without even so much as getting to know someone. It all depends on what you are looking for and how eager you are to meet someone. Sometimes it is just plain right between two people and you fall in love without ever meeting, hehe. There is no hurt ever, in asking. If you dont, you will never know!:)

There is no right or wrong answer to this question...I agree with the majority, it depends on the individuals and their comfort levels...When two people know what they want and they have a chance to fall in love, than there are no rules to when you should meet....Take a chance, isn't this what we are all here for anyway....

Crackers Tony there are no experts here, well maybe a few, okay under 25 there are, so maybe 20 that are legit ((I think the other 5 just printed the certificates off - but sssssshhhhhhhhhh that is between us LOL)) There are manuals to this game of life dude... throw the dice and roll with it... sometimes ya get 7's and sometimes snake eyes....

Just don't hang it up in a week because your princess didn't show up in the forum, mutual match or fall at your email doorstep...

well there benifits of waiting a bit before you meet, i mean with me and my girlfreind we waited a bit before we met and in that time we got to know each other very well and it just made meeting even better cos nither of us was as nervous as we would have been if we had met up straight away.

This has turned into a bash post and I will try and stop it. Here is my tail of what should be a good discussion.
I am traveling to meet someone from here over New Years eve. We meet in mid October. Messages and emaials back and forth. Many all night calls. Had to hang up, to get to work on time, no sleep, but worth it. The thing is she lives in Mexico and I live in Ohio. I am going, damn the topedoes full steam ahead. If she is who I should be with then I will do what it takes to be together.
But anyway I say if you have the means and the time, then go for it. Why not. What to sit back 15-20 years from now and go I wish I had gone and done that. I don't and won't. So to hell with it I am going to Mexico. What else do I have to do? Sit at home and type to people? Go for it.
