Old/Young? Race? Religion? Orientation?

I like discussion of nuisances ..challenges, but have I missed any criteria? Are we not free?

I do me and you do you. In areas where there might be differences of opinion. We agree to disagree if no resolution can be found.

Old or young..... dont care as long as we connect and can relate to each other.

Race......not even an issue......who cares?

Religion......we believe what we want, who am I to tell you how to think......as long as you're open to other possibilities and you are compassionate to others.

Orientation.......just be you!

I REALLY want to make sure that I am understanding and communicating clearly!

I have no problem with any "human" "adult" "choice"....if it is with agreement and consent... (and does not harm others)

I'm not at all surprised that you are at least OFTEN misunderstood. You've used so much personal shorthand in this thread already, I have to guess what it is you are "pushing." Or asking, or whatever it is that this thread is supposed to be about.

It LOOKS to me as though you are "pushing" the idea that anything consenting adults want to do with each other should be allowed by the society they abide within.

If that's your goal/notion, then I for one say forthrightly that I disagree with you firmly.

Back when I was an eager teenager myself, I toyed with the "anything goes between adults" idea, in the name of freedom and fun. But that was before I started to experience a LOT of real life, and all the many problems that the "consenting adults" concept suffers from.

For one thing, I had to lean that the term "adult" in the context of a discussion such as this, is vastly more complicated than most people realize, until it's too late. When you're a kid, most people think that age magically confers adulthood on everyone. But even if we set aside the obviously mentally impaired people, and just look at the technically "normal" people of the world, maturity/adulthood isn't at all a reliable thing. People "mature" at different rates. But more important, a normal human can easily be a functioning adult in one way, while remaining entirely a child in others, due to not having the full range of experiences required to acquire the insights needed to BE an adult.

In short, many nominal "adults" are not even remotely capable of giving informed consent to another person, about a particular activity. You tube is packed with tragedies of "adults" who "consented" to perform some stunt or another, only to discover the very hard way, that they weren't nearly as ready to do so as they thought.

So again, my answer to "is anything consenting adults choose to do okay, even within the bounds of not harming others?" is a flat out hell no.

reading the topic's header, I'm not sure whether I'm dyslexic or if there's something wrong with my cognitive skills.
The consenting part is more intriguing. It makes me think of naughty things blushing
