If neither person in a friendship makes the first move to forge a romantic bond with each other withiñ a certain time frame, do you think the people are forever confined to the friend zone?Or do you think that once both frirnds remain single, there is always possibility for romance between.them?

yep. makw a move immediately or it will never happen

For some friendship dynamics, that seems to be the case SDCF2 :)

its the fact of life babe. chicks want the guy to move fast and move first.

I like the guy to move first, but I dont need him to move fast. Clealy Im not the typical chic

you aint. youre probably the only sincere chick on here. most guys are afraid of a bold smart confident chick.

Thanks for the high praise SDSCF2, but I promise you that there are other sincere chics on the forum , especially the regulars. :)And I hope the guys who fear bold, smart and confident women , will discover that some of us know how to be vulnerable and flexible for the right man happy

don't lower your standards babe. as you've seen i only go out with certain chicks and i never settle for less.

I plan to keep my standards as high as the level I am requiring of my mate. I hope thats fair :)

As for settling, I believe in compromise, which is a kind of mutual settling of sorts to accommodate a collective goal . thats what I meant by flexibility.:)

Sorry but I was lost when neither made a first move which suggests neither have the maturity or social skills necessary to open the conversation to potential relationships and thus lose by social ineptitude and lack of courage with the necessary skills to simply share ones emotions honestly and directly...

I agree sybaritic guy, It does take courage and open and honest communication to make that transition from friendship to love.

Some people are genuinely afraid of losing their friendship if the relationship doesnt work out, and in many cases, their fear is realised. /its really not an easy decision to make. Ultimately both have to decide if its worth the risk :)

yes its fair. shouldnt never lower your standards for nobody. its why all the men want to be me and all the chicks want to be with me and all the men probably want to be with me too. because my standards are high. its whyt I get hit on constantly but only break hurts. I'm that damn good and my standards are high.
