Of course it makes a difference.. a big one. If there is a large age difference the older of the couple.. gets older.. faster. the younger one gets older.. slower.

Then at one point they notice that.

And frankly, I think those men AND women going out with people who are as young as their own kids.. are making fools of themselves.. and embarrassing the hell out of their kids.

RIGHT ON

Now I like to spell a secret of mine.

Lately, I become a bit selfish laugh

I think I prefer to be BURIED FIRST ??

Let my LADY have everything I possess.

It sucks to have to sell all the assets ( Her/Mine ),
just to find myself ALONE AGAIN in a Nursing Home.

The President of the United States is aged 70 and his wife is 46 years old, and they have been married for well over 10 years, age difference doesn't matter to some in order to have a successful relationship, and they clearly see more in each other than just how old they are.

Long term relationships, marriages, are not entered in to lightly and most people know what they are looking for, if age difference matters to you then better to date within an age range you feel comfortable with in my opinion.

The Prez is friggin rich. If he was Donny the bus driver, she wouldn't have given him the time of day.

I voted for the guy.. but lets call it what it is.

Whatever their reasons for marriage to each other, they are still together after well over 10 years, which is a lot better than some marriages. Their age difference does not seem to have resulted in a failed marriage. (Here in the UK, information from the Office of National Statistics informs us that of all marriages taken place between 1998 - 2012, 32% have ended in divorce, that is, 1 in 3 did not last 15 years and some a good deal less).

All this talk about younger women and older men. What about younger (5 to 15 years) men, and older women??? Why is that more taboo than the younger woman/ older man relationship? After all, women outlive men, as a whole anyway. So, less worry about her dying first. Men mature slower than women. I've known older ones that needed a little push in the right direction! And who would disagree that older women know more about sex. Being with a younger man who doesn't need viagra, would certainly add years and more life in every way, to both their lives. I bet they could find plenty in common and to talk about. What does age have to do with making experiences, as long as both are healthy? Bad health often comes to a younger man first anyway(heart attacks, colon cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc). Personally, I see an older woman/ younger man relationship as being much better than an older old geezer with a younger babe.

people seek compatibility, at the end of the day

age is no guarantee of compatibility or incompatibility

it is just a way to guess at what one's experiences are likely to have been

but there are always those who don't meet the average developmental norms

some people at 50 are about as mature as others at 25 and vice versa

it will always come down to the individuals involved, but when the norm is present,,,,compatibility will be harder to find

Not really but it depends on one another if they really don't care about age if
It matters or not
