Why do we put up with **** not to be lonely?

Believe it or not. The answer lies within.

We put up with stuff when we are lonely because we are soo tired of being lonely. We want to find someone that makes us whole.

While I understand that we can be surrounded by people and still be lonely ...
It behooves us to keep busy and our minds occupied.
If you are lonely, join a group/club; take up a hobby or craft; book club, car club,Toastmasters..whatever piques your interest..

If you feel lonely you gotta fill that void within yourself. Putting up with cr@p isn't going to help.

Find things in life that make you happy.

It's the internet.
You never have to be alone.

Because the body's reaction to "longeliness" is similar to feeling "pain."

People do anything to avoid and/or end "pain."

That's kind of the point to it.

A motivation to do something to alleviate that stressor.

People will accept smaller pain to avoid, relieve, or distract from larger pain.

Other than that you can get into deeper subjects.
Like how people are junkies at heart and it's all a manner of chemistry and addiction, habituation.
Subjects like the conscious self is a tool of the body, rather than the body being a tool for the conscious self.

Loneliness does feel like pain and emptiness. We often try to please someone and often lose our sense of self trying not to he lonely.
Until you find happiness within yourself you may not find happiness with others

I'm never lonely my ex husband said I was CRAZY....

So I guess I have me myself and I to keep me company.

I live in an apartment by myself and am not in a relationship but I am not lonely. I have many friends to keep me company and I do like the time I have on my own
