Malibu is Rum~~~

oh...okay, yeah now I remember. I saw a bottle in the rum section of the store..a white bottle if I remember right.

Your right it comes in a white bottle...

When keeping a stocked bar with liquors one does not drink or just in case. Once you open that bottle you should date it on the bottom.. Many liquors will keep for a long time..... many over 10 years.

But then you have those that start loosing the flavor ect after a year or so...

Of course once Wine, beer, champagne as well as those liquors that have a cream base do not last as long as many of the others do..

My drinking days a long gone, but I used to really enjoy my beer. Back in the '80's it was gin and tonic with lime.

I have Gin and just got that sloe gin (is that even gin?) but I have never met anyone that has asked for it.

My drinking days are also long ago. I just don't care for that 'drunk' feeling anymore. I did rehab back in the 80's but all that did was teach me 'how' to drink.

I used to go on float trips where we all had our own case of beer. First one out of beer wins kinda thing. I didn't win everytime but I won a few. So much for the foolish past.

Thanx, I'm going to start doing that. I know about the wine and cream liquor expiration. I usually buy only enough beer for the occasion and give any leftovers to my guests when they leave.

I once bought a 4 pack of those little champagne bottles for New Years. Dry I think was what it said. It was awful. If she wants champagne, she is going to have to tell me what to buy and I am not going to buy Dom Perignon! If her tastes run that high, I can't afford her.

I used to drink Jack. Now I am a Bourbon drinker. I have 2 suggestions that I have not seen listed. Evan Williams Black is a very affordable good Bourbon for mixing. Bulleit Bourbon is my favorite and I love it for special times and drink it cold and neat. I introduced it to a friend and his wife. For me Bulleit is so good I would never harm it by mixing but they love it for making Mint Julep's. Of course taste varies but as you listed Makers and Beam you might give them a try. And the derby season for Mint Julep's will be starting in the not to distant future.

I do not drink much beer. I do from time to time go to Kansas City for Arthur Bryant's BBQ. I enjoy a cold Boulevard Pale Ale. Just not the same when I buy the bottles at my local liquor store though.

Humm guess I'm not in with the most not a big wine drinker at all... noway When I do drink wine I prefer a more sweeter sparkling wine like Moscato. Now that and a veggie tray I can drink the whole bottle myself....

For now off to top off my meal with a shot of what is called Oatmeal Cookie~~~ taste like a oatmeal cookie but with a kick~~

This is what is in it...

Kahlua - 2 parts
Fireball - 1 part
Butterscotch Schnapps- 3 parts
Bailey's Irish Cream - 1 part

These I actually make a batch of them and just leave them in the fridge till I want a shot.... drinker

I've met a wide range of women that drink a wide range of alcohols. I agree that wine usually is a preferred choice but I like to keep my availability diverse.

Must add it is under $15 another reason it is so popular....

First time I ever tried it was at Olive Garden when I worked there a few years back~~~ It is the one wine I choose to give as a tester to all my tables

But it is not for those that prefer the red wines or really into wines~~~

But even took it to the New Years Eve party I attended and needless to say my bottle was empty at the end of the night where others were not that brought Champagne~~~

Once...I picked up a lady hitching a ride.
As I drove along, she looked at me, and said, " You're passionate".
I said "thanks, but how can you tell"?
She replied, "No shtoopid..the liquor shtore. You went right by it".
