His age, or rather your age difference will be the least of your problems. To be brutally honest, there are no advantages to loving a married man unless you plan on existing on fantasy alone. He's married, happily or otherwise, he's taken. The disadvantages are too many to mention or count - heartbreak and disappointment for you, honesty and loyalty issues for him, just to name a few. I know you can't help who you fall in love with, but you can help what you do about it and what you should do about it is move on. Sorry, brutally honest, like I said.

Best wishes,
-J.

Sorry but I would rather do the right thing and be happy with myself. I've been cheated on and I wouldn't put anyone else through that

This is only an opinion as obviously others have fallen in love with a married person esp when the married person pretends to to be single for a long time and there is no way to know if he is married when living as a single....

If just being taken for a night out and getting laid when it's "convenient", for him, cures your loneliness and puts a smile on your face, then go for it.

If you're looking for a deeper commitment, it's never, ever, going to happen with someone who is already committed to someone else, no matter what they may promise you.

The OP didn't say that the married man was pretending to be single or had the same feelings for her.

True but it is one of many situations where there is not a clear awareness of marital status, nor what each person was sharing in the situation just as the wife might have known and not cared. Simple answers to complex issues reflect a lack of understanding and a myopic view of life...

Just logic, no morality: advantages and disadvantages, are all dependent upon what you hope to accomplish.

You haven't said what that is, other than to "be happy," so there's no way to answer you within your frame of reference.

I was wondering the same thing. However, getting loaded every day may be the answer.

Having an affair with someone that is taken is disgusting and disrespectful.
I do wonder what your morals are.

It tells me when someone does that they only think of themself.

To be honest if you lived close to me and we're doing this I would open my mouth and tell the innocent partner what is going on.

I HATE THIS CRAP.

u think so?
is this not love when he s the one u think before u sleep and the first man u think when u open ur eyes and just thinking of him makes ur day?
and all day ur chating but u still feel its not enough? only u cant have him because he needs to be n his home for his wife? sorry but i think i knew this s something bigger than just admiring that man:kissing::sweat_smile::relieved::sunglasses:

sounds more like lust and infatuation

and the fact that he is married

only adds to the 'taboo' of it and is part of the excitment
