I think parallel universes probably exist given that at times I've said something to someone about this or that happening, but they've had a totally different experience than mine. Well the thought thing that showed up when reading some of the posts at the start of this topic was duh. Course they would be multiple universes if they're parallel. That's sort of the point. If there was only 1 universe there would be no parallelness at all because everyone would be having the same experience in probably the same order.

A solid stack of parallel universes could explain "dark energy"; all that invisible activity which is proven mathematically, but unseen.

Sliders was based on a true story.

Somewhere (main universe?) every moment of time has multiple outcomes and every outcome actually happens. What we see as reality is just the path of outcomes that we experience as time.

Kinda like a jar of Zero Point BBs. Trillions of BBs. A random path with a connection of moments twisting thru time. The other yous, at some point, take a different path.

Thank you,
I was trying to find the words to explain just that.

Long answer:
Yes I think so, in physics they say there are. But there has been a lot of argument banding about on Youtube about this, some people think the possibilities are limited by inferences in any given wave form, weather that be light, thought, self or soul frequencies. The total number of possibilities are also limited by the environment you are in.
I don't know all of it, I'm split on this one, but I vaguely remember pi being part of a wave equation, so I think that's the infinite part of it your talking about.
I suppose if there were other "you's" souls and selves, they may manifest as all the other possibilities to be explored at the same time. But then you start moving in to the world of strange science fiction films. This implies at a fundamental level that there isn't just one individual, but a group.

Short answer: yes and no.

With super string theory, and the theory that our universe may only have one electron, which is everywhere at once, then anything is possible. Deajavu may be a mental window into a parallel universe, for all we know.surprised

when de javu keeps repeating itself are we already stuck in a parallel universe that it seems were stuck? think

i always looked at de javu as stored memories from our ancestors... i think all genes are encoded with memories of thoughts, actions and reactions to things going on around them....(our ancestors)

I ask this:

If parallel Universes exist what is it that they exist within?

Is there a Master Universe in which these parallel Universes exist?

If so, is there other Master Universes? Where do they exist? In what spectrum of existence do they reside?

A boson exists within an atom. An atom exists within a molecule.
Molecules exist within a cell but a cell is not the only place where a molecule can reside.
Cells exist within the body yet many different bodies exist within the biosphere.
The biosphere exists within the planet but there are many planets in the galaxy.
The galaxy exists within the Universe.
Why should we think that there is only one Universe when nature shows us that there are multiple spheres at all the other levels of existence?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe both String theory and the Theory of relativity allow for parallel universes. I think they exist personally, but I'm not sure of the idea of countless universes (though that would be perplexing and fascinating)

i don't think anyone is right or wrong, we just don't know...

String theory by definition is theory.
While I also subscribe to many aspects proposed in String theory and do understand the theory of relativity nothing is proof in the sense of scientific method.

There is a theory, not sure what it is called, that postulates that time is a series of static Universes and consciousness is the movement from Universe to Universe. That the consciousness is non-dimensional and not restricted to directional linear progression. In essence, no defined singular path but all paths at once. The idea is the basis of simple quantum mechanics. That multiples of destined paths occur simultaneously.
That any given observed path is but one of an infinite number of paths that exist in a matrix of infinite dimensions. Each one with its own consciousness but unaware of all the others. In essence, separated from all the others by dimensional boundaries.

where does a parallel universe begin and where does it end ? so if its two worlds apart and my soulmate is in another would that mean we will never actually meet? just always almost but no where near enough hhhmmm

I think yes there exist parallel universes I mean why there should've been just one big bang! Also I always wonder what this dark matter could be! Galaxies are picking up speed regularly moving away from each other faster and faster and it's been theorized that it could be due to the dark matter or energy. Maybe dark matter is actually the parallel universes that cannot be perceived by us and now and then a new universe is born and adds to this dark matter. what Who knows?!

Apparently Einstein took a secret to his grave that he would not tell anyone. Too frightening for mankind or so the story goes.
He was working on a theory for this very subject
