Topic: Men -- a car question :-) | |

If you found out a woman you were meeting drove a more expensive car than you, would it bother or intimidate you?
Truthfully, men....how do you feel when a potential date tells you she drives a higher end car? What does it say to you? |

It doesn't bother me in the least what kind of car a woman drives. Ones car is no indicator of wealth. I have several wealthy male friends that drive vehicles that look like they are ready for the crusher. I, myself, drive a 1965 International pickup and I am in no way hurting for money. I have met many women that drive upscale cars yet earn much less than I do. If an a woman feels the need to have an upscale car, that's her choice. Other than that, it means nothing to me.

WOW... I am only asking to ask...
Some people get intimidated with ones that are more expensive.. others can be turned off or what not with ones that are less well a lot less expensive or not in the greatest shape.. I find a lot of guys as well.. then to have an excuse to why their car is not a newer one or in the best shape... an accident... or the others in the shop... it's the loaner... or blah blah blah |

I would expect it, I'm kind of a broke loser driving an old people car.

what would you say; if i said park all your cars and trucks for a while, and take a hot-air ballon ride.

If she can afford to keep the payments paid on time
She can drive whatever she wants to. |

my car is more expensive that my BF's... I don't think it bothers him... I really hope it doesn't. Tho I think it has bothered people in the past. At least I'm not asking him to pay for it

Any woman that I meet driving an upscale car that's far "better" in her eyes than my '65 International pickup truck gets an awakening when they see the "estate" where I live! Never judge a book by it's cover! Ha!

Cars are no indicator of wealth and that's the way it's always been. As Will Rodgers once said in the 1930's (words to the effect); if you want to solve the traffic problems, only allow cars on the road that are paid for.

I may ask if I could take it for a spin lol.
It would be better then a car I don't have now. |
