Time for the normal mourning process. You know, denial, anger, sadness etc. And with time getting over it, recovering and moving on.
Willpower has a lot to do with it. Some ppl remain stuck in one of the phases of the process for the rest of their lives and become eternal sulkers, whingers and whiners. If you are determined to have a happy life, and have enough inner strength to want to feel good, you'll get through it and find happiness again. And happiness doesn't mean a new partner per say. If you can't be happy on your own, you can't be happy with a partner. That's an illusion. Some like to live that illusion, if you do, it'll take forever to get over a relationship. |

SO TRUE ABOUT DENIAL....STUCK IN ONES AWARENESS AT THE TIME WILL REALLY STUNT GROWTH AND HAPPINESS....TAKING CHANCES ON NEW BELIEFS AND BEHAVIORS CAN BE SCARY FOR SOME...WE KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME IS IF WE HANG ON TO OLD BELIEFS AND FAVORITE FEELS AND EMOTIONS BECAUSE THAT'S WHO WE BELIEVE THATS WHO WE ARE..... |

How did you cope with it? Mingling?! I would do things for yourself; find something you enjoy and do it. hang out with friends, take a class, join a group of something, it will help you meet new people. Good luck... this too shall pass. |

I actually found that sleeping with new people for a short period of time helps alot to forget the other party. I did it and it worked great.
