I am using the new medication Chantix and it is amazing, a dozen people at worked used it and they ALL quit but one person. It takes away the physical addiction real well, but it is more the psychological addiction I am fighting right now. explode

How long until the intense cravings stop? ON a average. I thought after a week I would be over the hump of the hard part, so 2 more days lol? Help me out here lol

I have had some run ins with the oncologist running some tests and it scared the sh*t out of me so I knew I had to quit. Also at 50 bucks a carton, I knew I really needed to.
So for those who quit how long did it take to get over the PEEK of not going insane lol

{{{Shag}}} 5 days is so great. You are over the physical addiction after 72 hours. It is all mental now.

Drink lots of water...through a straw. That helped when I quit the first time. After 9 years smoke free, I went back. One of the stupidest things I ever did.

YOU CAN DO IT! Cheering you on.

Hey, have you had the strange dreams on the Chantrix? I plan on going on it after the first of the year when I get my bonus.

Hugs, M

Go shopping and buy yourself something every 5 days for not smoking. A treat.

Eventually you won't even think about it to often.

And you get to keep the treat.
