Yea they high jacked that otherwise pleasant parade, as far as i'm concerned, they lost any credibility and their demands makes this even more of a farce, the legitimate black community should denounce this embarrassment right away and replace the leaders with quality representation but they can't attract anyone able to guide the movement properly, it was created out of hate and in that case should be dissolved. Your absolutely correct. And it will fade out. Maybe some will join up with Farrakhan's.. to boost that imaginary security force he has been trying to build the last 2 or so years. Yes, black lives do matter.. so I suggest they stem the tide of black on black crime... thus stop killing their own. Seems like a good start.. a logical start. yes, maybe we can stop PAYING criminals to be criminals,,, oh wait, they are CRIMINALS please people, stop equating the say citizens should have in the behavior of their police with they say they have in criminals choices and there is no 'start' , there are many different areas for improvement and many different people and groups to address the simultaneously |

The BLM movement that branched out to Toronto Canada is puzzling to me, who are these people? they need foment division? when there aren't significant race related shooting deaths here? The hate originates the second those officers pull the trigger is what BLM pushes, those officers hate the black community? I personally think they pull the trigger because they're scared to death themselves, in most cases anyway. So the BLM cause is based on hate IMO I don't see many accomplishments in the reverse of racism, I see more and more racism from some BLM supporters wanting to target whites |

I wish those 3 girls well, a year old and this movement already morphed into a more violent nature, basically attracting all the whackjobs to the show.
"the complete dismantling of the prison industrial complex. Many of the movement’s organizers identify as abolitionists" ~BLM |

"the complete dismantling of the prison industrial complex. Many of the movement’s organizers identify as abolitionists" ~BLM its not morphing, just going through the growing pains and yeah, the way people support dismantling 'obamacare',, seems blm wants to 'dismantle' the prison system I never support complete dismantling as the end all be all, I prefer restructuring , makes sense to review and change the parts that are not working as expected but keep the parts that are |

I almost lost my life on this job, and every call, every stop, every moment that I had this uniform on, was another possibility for me to almost lose my life again. One of the BLM leaders made a trip to my state over the weekend to join in on the protests. After failing, several times, to obey orders to stay out of the public roadways, he got to spend the the night in the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail.
Afterwards a tweet he made seemed to show he didn't appreciate the free breakfast he was given.... deray mckesson @deray 17h Sidenote: jail breakfast is awful & they'd be much better off buying apples to replace the "oatmeal" & the OJ is grainy. Poor Deray He also just loves posting this a lot.... deray mckesson @deray 3h I love my blackness. And yours. |

Soros has a different agenda for the BLM right now, he's trying to divide the people so the dems can stay in control of the government... has anyone noticed how they are not educating the people on not arguing with the police? they blame the police in every case a black man gets shot, while never saying anything about just being nice to the police in the first place... all people have to do is do what the police tells you to do, and the shootings will slow way down/stop... also, if people learned less inherent fear and bigotry for black males,, the shootings would slow way down disobedience to authority should never be acceptable reason for death,, except in the case of defense FROM lethal force, or penalty for taking life fewer slaves would have died if they had been 'obedient',, but should their lives have hinged on how obedient they were? no the only "inherent fear" is the lie black people keep telling themselves that everyone is against them... slaves this, slaves that... get over it, not one black alive today has ever been a slave... in case you forget, white people have to deal with the same laws as well, and when we don't do what a cop says to do, we get shot just as quick... so just cry me a river on your "poor black man" speeches, it only works with the stupid liberals that don't know any better than to listen to these lies... |

no,, see , this is the tunnelvision thats causing the most division like i said, the bully wants to quit kicking you but then cries if someone gets you a doctor,, because that makes it about you and not him too I responded, as I normally do right before being pointed to as having an agenda or some nonsense, to the previous post about how black people are telling themselves a lie' see,, though actions on the front seem identical,, the details of whether they are an action or a REaction,,make a difference |

The " start" is how you raise your kids. How families accept responsibility for their kids. But with a 74% single parent household rate in the black community I am sure that is hard to do. It is easy to father children.. not so easy to be a Dad to them or even be around.. sure seems that way. But hey, when some people see nothing wrong with children aged 14 having sex and becoming parents themselves.. a kid raising a kid. or kids..(which leads to school drop out, single parenthood & welfare). Why should anyone be surprised. what does someones parents marital status play into their deserving to die? please explain this to me,, all these tangents are nice to paint a 'they deserved to die' picture but in that moment before they are killed is the person with the power asking them first how many kids were in their family or if their dad was around NO complete nonsense, in this discussion point is, police are paid and trained and given resources to both serve and protect,, not to be juror and executioner and if there is a problem with some officers choosing lethal force before deescalation, those officers need to be held accountable by the system point blank. PERIOD |

As I see it, parties on both sides of this argument don't want to hear what the other side has to say.
For example, if a white party has a legitimate grievance against a black party, then the former will be accused of being a bully who is trying to silence a victim. Acknowledging that all races are equal means acknowledging that all racial parties may have legitimate grievances. |
