I am not a guy and yet the sweetest thing he ever did
Was call me "his Rare and Precious Gem".. What made it special he meant it.

Don't know if it's the sweetest thing but when our oldest kids were babies we had no time nor money at the time for a getaway. I wrote her a little story about us on our little mountain getaway. I enjoyed leaving little notes and stories for her.

I've tried to get a person off Heroin.... and failed... Damn that drug is strong.
oops... that's not sweet though. 
I was a faithful...care-giver for my very sick mate of 13 years... I did many "honey-do's" and did everything I could, heart-wise, mentally, monetarily, and took care of her Asperger's/mild Autistic son the best I could. It was very very hard at times, and wasn't anywhere near enough... when she recovered, we drifted apart. that was a good thing... I was exhausted in every way... after she had experienced the extremely bad controlling marriage she's now in, she totally appreciates all I did.... we remain best friends to this day. that's not sweet either... damn... sweetest thing? no, I've never done anything sweet to my knowledge, that someone would go aaaaaaawwww to. just did what I had to do, and don't regret it any. |
