That's a tough one because even though I've been told that I'm "going to make some lucky girl very happy someday" nothing I have ever done has actually won any women's heart.

Just been myself

A long time ago, when we were dating, I called her while she was at work. After a few minutes into the converstion, she told me she was feeling cold in the office that night, and she had no coat. After we ended the conversation, I got in my car, bought her a nice warm jacket, and took it to her workplace.

..I carved her heart out of her chest with a spoon..ohhh.. wait a minute! I don't think that's what you're talking about is it...

Well .... This could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing

I have a knack, I think.

The things I've done on purpose to be "sweet," usually backfire or go unnoticed. But some things I do because it's the only logical thing I can think of, end up getting praise.

I usually agonize over gifts to give, for example. Trying to be really thoughtful and caring. But the all time favorite gift I ever got for my ex, which she praised the most, was the one I gave up and bought on the spur of the moment, thinking it was obvious and even callous.

So I've completely given up TRYING to be "sweet."

Accompanied her to some really bad operas , where people are screaming at each other at the top of their voices, in some language I never learnt in school....and I learnt three languages while in school...I think that was a sweet gesture on my part....apart from paying the price of admission....too...

Well, if I had a lady....I would hop on a plane, appear out of no where, and say "boo" if I could. I'll probably just succeed in getting punched in the face, but I think it's romantic to do that...lol. :) I did that once to an ex-girlfriend in college when she was an exchange student to London. She punched me in the face....after flying halfway across the world....just kidding, she was happy I took the time to go see her.
