Sorry that this happened to you. I had something similar happen to me earlier this year except I drove for about an hour (this was the half-way point between me and this guy) and the guy never showed up or called, much less email me to me know that he had an emergency. I'm going through the same thing with 1 man on here and one one another site except they live here in Austin. They say that they're available on the weekend and for me to give them a call, so I do a couple of times, leave messages and NADA. I just couldn't get these guys to commit to a day and time to meet when we did talk on the phone. THEN they call during the week wanting to meet that weekend and it's a vicious cycle all over again. I try to give these guys the benefit of a doubt, but this is the 2nd weekend they've both done this to me and I'm at the point to where I'm not going to answer their calls or acknowledge their emails. I have way too much to do than worry about them getting their jollies by jerking me and maybe some other women around. What's really bad about the whole thing is that they claim that they aren't like the other guys out there, but I'm beginning to believe that the ones who claim to be sincere are really players. :-(

Did he act like he was going to back out? This is why I would never travel to meet the guy first!! I say..let them come to me and meet them in a public place. I would never be that mean to anyone!!!
Just mark it up as a bad experience and thats one less jerk that you can weed out!! So sorry you had to waste your time and money

Yea, I wonder what these guys are thinking. Apparently they aren't. Just like some guys. You talked to them for months and form a friendship, then you finally get to meet, things are great, then, BAM, not a single word from them. Like they just disappeared off the face of the earth. But, you see them online. Makes you wonder why pple do the things they do. It would be so nice if everyone was considerate of others feelings. You know, that don't happen much in the REAL WORLD. I beleive you should treat ppl the way you want to be treated. Wish everybody else felt like that, Oh, sorry I wrote so much. Was just on a roll.

I think there are a lot of mean men and women out there. The whole point here is that everyone should stop and think about the persons feelings that you are playing!! Life is way to short to play these little games with others emotions..so grow up!!

ive had that done to me before and it sucked .i hate that inconsiderate cr*p! there are still good people out there keep looking you deserve better. ive been hurt by woman but it doesn't mean they are all the same, each is different. heck if i thought they were all the same that wouldn't be fair to the ones who are good.
