I'm a HUGE Anne Rice fan so I love the movies "Interview With A Vampire" and "Queen Of The Damned." I thought the TV show "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" was ... eh ok... but I liked "Angel" a whole lot more. My latest Vampire love is Mick St. John of the TV show "Moonlight" played by the gorgeous Alex O'Loughlin. What are your favorite Vampire movies, TV shows, or even books of the past or present? major vampire fan here....absolutely love anne rice, read them all at least twice. disappointed that the vampire chronicles are ceased. ive not seen moonlight, will have to check it out. ive read over 300 vampire novels. currently started the series by banks...its good so far, but doesnt have the magic of anne rice.

I'm ashamed to admit it... but my favorite vampire books are by the Y.A. author L. J. Smith. She hasn't put out anything in years, but I love every one of the stories she's written. They're cheesy but good. I swear that Joss Whedon read her series "The Vampire Diaries" when creating Buffy. There are a lot of similarities in there. Do any of you read Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire series? They're hilarious. Love them! HBO is making them into a TV series hopefully starting this January. It looks to be great so far. I used to adore L.K. Hamilton... but her plot lines were erased in order to focus in too much on poorly written sex. The books just aren't interesting anymore.

there's a lot of books out there that are good. Laurell's Anita Series, Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series.... i have to say that my favorite vamp in a book is written by Kim Harrison. Ivy is hot, and Kisten is pretty hot also! very well written.

Vampire movies have fell short on the scarey part since Salem's Lot, more about the temptation and desures of sex and power play now. So my fave vampire movie is proll The Lost Boys.

Would have to be Queen of the damned . Might have had rather crap special effects but did have an amazing soundtrack to it . Static x cold = class

with me its not so much the scariness of it, i enjoy the stories of their lives and loves, about their lives and how they live it....more of a gothic romance type of thing not the gore

I didn't like Angel all that much. I like the Dusk till Dawn movies and the tles from the crypt movie Bordello of Blood. I also liked the Jim Carrey movie Once Bitten.
