well firstly i've just moved halfway across the world, so i'm still trying to settle in and make friends and finding a partner is not exactly number 1 on my to do list.

i'm picky, not in the sense that they have to be gorgeous and perfect like george clooney but just someone thats right for me, in every way. which i guess is most peoples downfall. we often over look the most amazing people for the most pathetic reasons. we need to be more open minded, but sometimes thats hard.

plus my last relationship was difficult in everyway including a messy breakup, so still on the mend.

and well, i'm just sick of having meaningless relationships. not that i'm looking for 'the one' but just something with a little more substance.

Well I'm going to say I'm single by choice, but I've noticed lately that I'm pushing those who are interested in me away from me.

I'm single because most men are intimidated by me.

im single because my fiancé was murdered 3 years ago...
and now i think im ready to move on...

well I guess everyone has a reason and yeah most likely we are all single because we arent married, a duh!! But I am glad for all the feed back on this thread

I am single by choice.

I am not willing to be with someone I am not compatible with, to me that is just settling. Life is too short to be miserable in a relationship with the wrong person.

I have many things going on in my life that keep me pretty busy.
I take things one day at a time. if I meet someone, great, if I don't meet anyone, so be it I am not desperate or lonely.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have someone to share my life with, but I am very picky about who I allow into my life.

nothing wrong with that bry ... i believe when its right youll know it and it took me years to figure that out...its not being picky its waiting for what you know feels right.. and that way you dont waste both your time in a relationship that is doomed
