Wherever did this term "cougar" come from?!
 What do they call older men who date younger women? Wolves? Apes? Giraffes? Pigs?!

I don't like that they put a label on us older woman. Men have been doing it from the begining of time. We take care of ourselves ,and are sexy as hell . The older guys can't keep up with us. I would like to meet someone around my own age that could!

hmmmm let's work on some terminology here ..  And btw OP .. I was with a guy 28 yrs younger than I was for 2 years, and am now moving into another relationship with a man 27 yrs younger. Age is nothing if you have connection. Love conquers all. IMHO |

no way would i date a guy that is around my sons age (19)thats just too gross and sick. the youngest i'll go is maybe 3 yrs younger. it would be nice to date someone my age though or maybe a year or two older.

I don't see it as a big deal. A guy dating a woman that's quite a bit older. Look at the 80yr. old politicians with the 30 yr. old ladys. Its made to look acceptable. Why can't older women be with younger guys? Especially, if they're in love.
I do see the awkwardness of some 19 year old dating his friends mom. Whooo! Kinda creepy...but if they're in love. It's just that at 19, most people don't see the differance between love and lust. Heck, I had my first girlfriend at 19. |

I used to think age was important. after i checked out singer Celine Dions bio I found that her husband is 2 yrs older than here and there still going strong. in the bio it said that celine is 3 moths younger than her step son and the family has no problem with that. and to and earlier poster in this thread
