To find true sacrifice we need to make love .. Huh? I don't think there is such a thing as sacrifice when there is (unconditional) love. I don't get your statement. |

The first -and prolly only condition- to finding true love, is to truly love yourself.

I don't think you have to make sacrifices to find it, but sometimes you may have to make sacrifices to preserve it. That's just it. No one now wants to make any kind of sacrifices. A lot want what they want. And will do anything almost to get it. But once they have it, they don't want to do what it takes to keep it. A lot of those who don't have it, that swear up and down would do anything to have it, They, in reality, don't want to sacrifice anything to get what or where they say they want. People now, for the most part, want instant gratification. With the least amount of input. They want things in general, husband, wife, money, etc. But they don't want to sacrifice anything or do any kind of work for it. A lot of people now are, "FUBAR." And they wonder why they are alone. |

Yes...we must sacrifice virgins to the Mingle2 gods....or was it goats? Not goats. Instead, the sex-crazed male virgins who keep showing up on this site. |

To find true love we need to make sacrifice
Sacrifice - meaning to give something up which is precious to us - is true in the sense that we do give up certain freedoms in my opinion. We do not normally continue to do all the things we do as single people, maybe because of financial constraints, so we usually compromise as others have said. ( The Ford replaces the Jaguar for example ) . However, the rewards in finding true love far outweigh these sacrifices in my opinion. |

why do you call your best actions a Sacrifice?

True or false? Sacrifice for who?. You accept the person you love for who they are, they for who you are. You don't ask them to change. You don't change who you are. There is no reason to sacrifice anything. If you can't live together like that.. you have the wrong person. |

There is no reason to sacrifice anything. If you can't live together like that.. you have the wrong person. Even if you find someone who accepts you as you are, would you say that spending quality time together is an integral part of a successful relationship? Will your mates schedule always line up with yours ? Will your activities and interests always synergise ? What about decision making where finances and kids are concerned.?Will you always be in sync with your partner on all of those? What do you do when such differences arise ? Keep moving.on from partner to partner till you find someone whose decisions and schedules are perfectly aligned or do you mutually make compromises and sacrifices to accomodate inevitable differences? |
