What fun us 3 ladies had in trying to solve the puzzle...

"Escape Rooms"

We Minglers are always trying to escape from our rooms.

I tried that once with some friends.
I almost got us kicked out.
I kept breaking things by applying too much pressure.
Guy kept coming in all "okay, everyone, just stand over by the wall, that actually needs a key to get into. Uh. If you could just not apply any more than very light pressure on things to open them, again, like fingertip pressure, we'd appreciate it.
We'll let you know when to turn around and we'll start the clock again...okay, looks like this won't lock again so if you could just not lift this particular lid until you find a small brass key, otherwise you forfeit and game over..."

I can't help it if the stuff they used was old crap furniture from goodwill with sticky drawers and 3-d printed crappy cryptex.

Whoops.

Well, to be fair, we did listen to the rules about 'too much pressure'..'don't pry open the electrical outlets'..etc..
Our game was indeed fun.

Escape Room???

lol I heard this term for the first time this morning on the radio :)

Some are called 'locked rooms'.. and you have to think your way out.. by unlocking other locks by solving some type of puzzle..There are many different story or theme rooms.. google is your friend for a better explanation than mine..I recommend it with friends for an hour of entertainment..

It sounds like a lot of fun. There are a couple different ones not too far away from me. I am going to get a group together and try it. Thanks RustyKitty
