playing the waiting game ... so many people come on websites like these and hope to find love or a relationship straight away . if you want to find love then you will oneday dont go looking for love ,love will find you when the time is right

Everyone says this, but then you hear about so many success stories coming out of online services like these or the testimonials of people who have consulted with dating experts and reviews on love advice books/websites that are oh so positive.

How does not trying even logically work?

I've tried to take myself out of the game several times just because I didn't want to put up with all of the contradictions and confusions that the Dating Game confronted me with. After quit, The Fates throw a gorgeous young woman who connects with me on every conceivable level in my direction, and I'm thrown completely off guard! O_O It's true! Stop trying, and she'll find YOU, just like they say! :D Then I start talking to her and she reveals that she's either got a guy in her life or she's been pursued by every guy who ever met her and is at this point completely turned off by the prospect of dating ANYONE.... ****.....

Sometimes you just put your foot forward and let your idea of "God" guide you but, You can't just sit still.

Yeah I don't think waiting around really works. Or at least not for guys, for us I think we're generally expected to start things off. :) But better to be patient that impatient.

I'm not waiting for anything, I'm too busy getting on with life, if someone appears then yeehaa, I will look at it then, for whatever it is, until then I got things to do.

Its not the process of waiting that makes love happen or appear, its the fact if you stop thinking about it and just go on with everyday life, it just all of a sudden shows up. Waiting just makes it seem longer cause your aware of whats going on around you.

You have to put yourself out there for the picking, nothing will happen if you just think about being with someone and no action. So, any site like this is a start...

I think you have to go on with your every day life...who knows it might be someone right there in your town. I think if you are looking to hard, you are willing to settle for anyone that comes along. You have to know exactly what you want and be willing to wait. It will happen, it just might not happen today
