hey girl -- i know what you mean. some of these people have no tact -- they cut right to the chase: "so what's your favorite position" -- "are ya into....". if ya have to do, do what i do "BLOCK THEM" from sending you e-mails. many if they get enough of them they get the idea. it's not fair to the really nice ones out there who are trying to meet someone.

Uh-huh, and how do you sweep them off their feet with compliments about their looks when 95% of women in the e-dating world say something on their profiles like "don't just write me telling me I'm sexy, k?" If a guy you don't know came up to you and told you that YOUR flaws were beautiful (which doesn't even make sense since any feature that beautiful wouldn't be recognized as "flaws"), would you suddenly be swept off your feet or think he's just some creep trying to get into your pants?

what she is trying to tell you is that women want you to compliment them on a certain aspect of them, such have you have a really nice smile, or you have pretty (insert color) eyes. etc.
And as for the facial hair... clean shaven is a turn on for most girls. Johnny Depp may have facial hair, but he has the features to pull it off. Just like long hair, certain guys have to versatility to pull it off as well as short i.e. Johnny Depp.
Sorry to say this but in my opionion, you would look much better clean shaven and shorter hair. You say that most women you meet say it the most distingushing feature you have or interesting, but have any of them really said they like it, or have any of those women ever stayed around. I would guess not since you are on a dating site.

stick it out for a while and you will find some remarkable people here. there are a wide variety of styles and degrees of tact and lack thereof.

Read some of the poetry. It can be interesting. Delete the nonsense which deposits itself in your inbox and if it is really outrageous then take measures.

but most importantly interact and learn something about yourself and others. because it is fun to learn.

I think most people are still single because either they aren't secure in themselves or they are searching for the perfect partner which does not exist.
