“Past and Present”

As you look around and see.
Are you were you thought you would be?
Did you think that things would always last?
Did you think you would be looking at the past?
Wondering about things you had done.
What if the times you lost had you won.
Would life be different for you?
At times we must see things in a different view.
Sometimes what if’s of the past.
Will come back like a blast.
Making us see things we don’t want too.
Harsh reality of the things we do.
Even though we all know we can’t change.
Life is like a shooting range.
After you take that shot you can’t move.
The direction of the bullet nor can you improve.
That spot where the bullet will hit on the target.
Most times as we go through life we will not.
Get a second chance must get it the first shot.
Some are lucky enough to get a second chance.
With a job, love or even in romance.
Make sure you don’t leave any doubts behind.
Don’t throw your second chance out into the wind.
Run with it and do all you can.
Figure out a plan.
This time do everything right.
Don’t let the past turn around and bite.
Put your heart and soul into it so it will last.
So you don’t have to stand and look into the past.
