“Only if you Try”



As I sit here day after day.
Wonder if anyone will come my way.
Soon that passes past my mind.
After thinking about it I remind.
Myself why should I even care?
Or even try to dare.
Does it really even matter?
It is only on the computer.
What each person does any more.
It’s just a way to explore.
And to have some fun
After all was said and done.
Who is to say who will win?
Words at times will make your head spin.
Round and round till you’re lost.
Do we really want to pay that cost?
I think I’m better off not going there.
It seems to only bring despair.
Some will get lucky and find that one.
Then there search is done.
And down the road they can go.
For they all know.
They got what they came for.
And not looking for anymore.
Those are the ones that were blessed.
Actually I’m pretty impressed.
They found love and it began to grow.
So see who really will know.
Do these things actually last?
And not follow the routine of the past.
Well guess if you never try.
You want have to worry about a reply.

I couldn't have said any better than NPP...way to go with that one...it could be in reverse for man or woman. It doesn't matter for the length anyways, you're not on here for contests.

SomebodyinChico thank you for the keep up the good work but as for not right for a contest, heeheheh I'm don't write for contest I write cause I now seem to have that need to and because of the ones right here on these forums they are my encourgemet that I need. Honest if I did write for contest hey they either take me as I'm or they don't need my words upon the page. As far as length I stop when it feels right to me. But thank you for the advice anyway.

Lovemaekar your words upon the page always brings a smile to my face and warms my heart to the core. How do I do it all I can say to that is I write the words that come from deep within my heart and what stirs my soul. Actually kind of wild for as I look upon a blank page. Either before or after I will think of only the first sentence of what to start it with then I just go off of it the rest seems to just fall in. again thank you very much
