to my friends 15 year old daughter who attempted to kill herself last night.

We just got back from the hospital and physically she is fine now but obviously she will need a lot of help to recover her spirit and cope with all life has in store for her...

I was at the hospital with the family and didn't have time to log on yesterday but I was touched (but not surprised) to see how thoughtful everyone has been to take time to think of another.

Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers.

It's always shocking and sorrowful for me to see someone with their whole life and so many possibilites ahead of them and yet they cannot see it.

She was transferred to a mental health facility today. I hope she can be helped to see that everything that seems to loom so large right now will shrink to something she can cope with in time....
