i would have to agree with FMA on this one there is a right way and a wrong way to let some down now that youve tried the wrong way maybe next time youll try the right way ..i take it your young so these things come with time and experience..its about having class whether that person means any thing to you or not..nothing personal weve all made mistakes along this line ..i know i have

i didn't say it was mean

Well, for me I'd just be honest, and let them know how I feel about the relationship. Try to be nice, but not misleading.

I try to be really clear right up front about what I'm looking for AND what I'm not looking for. Occasionally, I have issues with someone who decides it's her job to change my standards, and that can get a little messy. If I see it going in that direction, I'll try to straighten it out -- gently but firmly --before it gets out of hand. I'm just not into hurting people....

i wasn't intending to be mean i just don't wanna lead someone on. i've been in a situation where I had the best time ever with this girl then she just said I don't want to be with you for no reason which is worse then just being straight out rejected.

wowser I can feel the love in here laugh laugh

Paint take the advice the women gave you son. honesty is best but not brutal honest. If your talking and getting to know someone and then decide she is not for you, be direct but sincere.

I said listen " I like you and have fun hanging out with you, but I don't feel we can have anything more then a platonic relationship", followed by I'm sorry I just don't want to lead you on or hurt you in any way. Do you understand ?

Be honest,Polite and Sincere..don't aim to hurt feelings but, If they get angry don't feed into that. Just walk away knowing you did it the best way you could. jmo
