this has happened to me
not once but twice  the height wasn't the issue I couldn't understand the lying  I figure if someone would lie about their height they would lie about anything

I agree with sin. It is all about the lie. I have heard some funny stories about dating. I would never date a liar. Most people would not.

It galls me to see the lie on height, age, weight, etc. The height, age, weight, etc aren't terribly important, but the lie is. Terribly. |

so lies about your height oh, got it! when i wear shoes i'm an inch taller when i take off them shoes i'm two inches shorter. oooops, i think i just lied so sorry!

Height is an issue sometimes.. I mean I'm 6', I can't see myself with someone that is 5'.. thats too much difference. But when the person lies about it... makes you wonder why... but if the date was planned, theres no reason not to go on. I mean, so you see he's shorter than expected, then maybe go for a friendship instead... but you might find, that he's still the same guy/gal that he/she was online...

its not good... hard to say.. Sorry not interested cuz of your height. I had a guy ask me if I would ever want to meet... I said well sure someday after alot of chat... lol then looked at his profile, ohhh how do I say no .. you are too short... lol I did manage tho to tell him that as friends sure, but it could not go any further. He stopped talking lol

I'm 5'6" and like to wear heels....so at 5'8" or 5'9" I want to at least have a guy look me in the eyes. If a guy lies about a foot in height....what other skeletons are in his closet???

i used to have a habit of telling people i was 4'6, 620 lbs and smelled like fatback, just to make em look at me funny

I can actually see an advantage to being 4'11" rarely do I run into a man my height........so height doesn't matter to me....the lie is where the problem would be..........lie about one thing than they more than likely lie about other things.........but you do have to consider that it may be a computer glitch also...........I've noticed many profiles on men that say under 5'.......
