No way. If someone falls in "love" in a week that really shows some emotional issues. There is so much you need to learn about someone before you can really say you are in love and a week just isn't enough for true love. Infatuation, lust, like etc is what it's called. Some people are in love with the thought of being in love. You can't rush or you will almost always regret it.

I am going to go against the majority here and say that you can. It is very possible, though not likely. However, we live in a period where we allow time to dictate when things should be, and those are good. Yet I see them as just guidelines and as we all know are not always true for us individuals. Then again, it could also be your meaning of love.

To some, lust can be a state of love. I know a few women who need to feel wanted in a sexual desire in order to feel loved. To some, the gift of giving satisfies the feeling of needing to be loved. For some, it is that company spent. So it all depends on who you are and what is your circumstance. Is there just one love in your life? That may you never find another? I think not. Although who am I? No one of importance. Just offering some ideas.

In all honesty I think you can. Me and Erin have been talking for a month or so.. and We are madly in love.. We met just a week ago.. but everything is so perfect between us.. we want nothing more than to be with each other.. and I think that once you realize you love someone for their personality looks aren't as much of a big deal.. and you already care for them.. Me and Bill (williambrss) were talking for close to 4 months now, we know we care for eachother and only hope for one thing - be together soon. Though for now the distance is the principal issue but yet we have plans of meeting eachother in person soon.

Nope, is a complete farce to fall in love in a week........I once talked to a psychiatrist and she told me that it takes at least 2 years to really know someone.......if you fall in love within a week, is it really love or is it something else?

It depends on how you choose to define love. If love encompasses, in your view, a deep understanding and feeling for your significant other then it would definitely take years. Some do not look at love in the same light and, in my opinion, confuse it with passion and lust. In that case, love can be accomplished in a mere week. Love is just very hard to define.
